These are not the photos of Kuwait at day or noon. These are the photos when the thunders stroke in last night. My friend Ali grabbed his iPhone 4 & shot these amazing photos from his apartment, took exactly the moment when the thunder stroke.

Sarayat Season 2013

Setiap tahun, setiap bulan antara Maret-April-Mei selalu terjadi masa transisi dari musim dingin ke musim (sangat) panas atau biasa disebut SARAYAT (berubah-ubah) season. Tadi malam, kembali terdengar halilintar dari tengah malam hingga 2:30.

 Jelang jam pulang kantor, semua sibuk merekam halilintar yang menyambar terus-terusan.



Di perjalanan pulang, hujan cukup deras diikuti dengan sambitan-sambitan hails atau es.

Hail Storm in Kuwait

It IS Sarrayat season. And today we have heavy rain with thunders and hails. Almost exactly the same repeated from a year ago.

As predicted 3 days ago, the rain will showering Kuwait but never realize it will be this heavy.


Small hails

The hail itself is not as big as last year but the duration of the rain is quite long, almost 1 hour. Here's the photo of the hails took by friend.

After the heavy rain, people are reporting in Twitter there are floods in some area like Riggae.

Spring of Rain & Thunder at Night

Sarrayat (transition between winter & summer) season is coming. Tonight, rain was falling from 23:45 and stopped at 3:00.


Thunder strikes for almoset 2 hours.
